For this collection volume, Astrid Lindgren selected a number of chapters from Pippi Longstocking, Pippi Longstocking Embarks and Pippi Longstocking in the South Sea. Ingrid Vang Nyman then made completely new illustrations, including four full-color spreads.For Pippi Longstocking's 70th anniversary in 2015, the book was published with all the illustrations restored and colored.
